I have decided that I will probably leave the cabinet the red color that it is now. I still go back and forth. I wish it was just a bit oranger. But I think if I add a pillow that has some orange and red to the chair that is near it, that will help. My first choice would be Chiang Mai, but let’s face it, I can’t afford it. And if I could, I would probably put it somewhere more prominent like the living room.
It would be perfect in my vision for the living room. Maybe someday….
I like this scallop fabric by Michael Miller, but the darker orange color is described as coral so I don’t think it’s going to be red enough.
I love this Robert Kaufman Birdcages fabric. The birdcages have a bit of Asian flare and I think the colors would work. I like the blue colorway better, but it wouldn’t accomplish the goal of tying the orange and red together. Maybe I could use the blue colorway somewhere else, possibly as curtains in the soon to be painted half-bath.
I also really like this fabric by Jessica Jones. I’m afraid the blue is a little too teal for the room though. This may also be in the running for curtains in the half bath.
I think this Richloom fabric may be the one. The walls are blue and I have a green table in the room that I planned to paint when I bought it almost ten years ago. But I must like it green because I haven’t painted it yet. This fabric would tie all the blue, green, orange and red together. And it’s a great floral without being too serious. As you can probably tell by my choice of fabrics, I’m not much for serious. What do you think? Which fabric do you like best?
