Hello! I’m sorry for the extended break. I’m hoping to begin getting back into the swing of things soon. How was your weekend? Mine was fabulous. I got lots of R&R and got to see my Cowboys beat TCU.

Reading…My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry. This one is by the the author that wrote A Man Called Ove, which I loved. I’m not very far into this but am sure I will enjoy it as well.

Watching… Hollywood Game Night. There are a few shows that I watch each week when they air but I’m becoming a big fan of stockpiling shows on my Tivo. I always get a kick out of this show. For some reason I didn’t watch many this summer but have been watching them the last couple of weeks when I want a laugh.

Listening to… 99% Invisible. This is my new favorite podcast. The creator’s describe it as being “about design, architecture & the 99% invisible activity that shapes our world” – but it’s so much more than that. I don’t think you have to be interested in design to find this show fascinating. Each episode dives into a different topic – usually something you never thought about but find yourself fascinated by. My favorites, so far, have been Structural Integrity; Milk Carton Kids; Johnnycab; and Ten Thousand Years. Each episode is a standalone show so you can begin anywhere – but I’m warning you, you’ll want to listen to all (nearly 200) of them.

Wearing… Lou & Grey Sweatshirt Dress. This dress is definitely going to be my Fall & Winter uniform. I loved the one I had so much that when I found it for 60% off, I bought two more. I can wear it with leggings and swap out various scarves and sweaters. If I were starting a wardrobe from scratch I would probably buy 10 of them and wear them every day (I don’t like to do laundry)!

Loving… Acure Products. I have gradually been swapping out all of my personal care products for healthier alternatives. I was super-excited to discover Acure products. They are pretty reasonably priced and have great reviews. So far, I’ve used their shampoo & conditioner, face wash, lip gloss, and leave-in conditioner. I think they will all become regulars in my personal care regimen. The Think Dirty app has been helpful in making decisions. Acure is also available at VitaCost which often has a better price; use this link to get $10 off your first order of $30 (of anything not just Acure).

What have you been up to lately?
