I’m sorry about the lack of posts lately. I’ve kind of been in a pondering mode – not sure what I want to create or write about. I’m hoping that some sunshine this week will alleviate the indecision. Hopefully we actually have sunshine; I feel like March always brings promises of fabulous weather but ends up being cloudy, cold, and windy.

Watching… Suits. I figured out last week that Suits had returned for the last six episodes of the season and I missed it. Thankfully, USA makes it really easy to watch back episodes on the Fire TV. I think the show has run its course (I don’t enjoy it nearly as much as I used to), but it was perfect viewing for a week devoid of most of my regular programs.

Reading… Mastery: The Keys to Success and Long-Term Fulfillment. J.D. Roth mentioned this book on the Mad Fientest podcast. I believe he said it was life-changing, which intrigued me enough to buy a used copy on Amazon. I’m always on the lookout for inspiration to push through the beginning stages of mastering a skill. I hope this will fill the bill.

Listening to… Smartest Person in the Room Podcast. Megan Tietz was recently on an episode of What Should I Read Next? I tried her Sorta Awesome Podcast a while back, but it wasn’t really my cup of tea. I was excited to learn about Megan’s new(er) podcast and it sounded perfect for me. She just began the third season, the first was on Hollywood, the second on Religion, and the third is on things that go viral. She delves into each topic by interviewing an expert in one aspect of the field. I’ve always had a bit of a fascination with Hollywood and found the first episode very interesting.

Eating… Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute. I picked this up one day at TJ’s and have found myself putting it on nearly everything. It contains onion, black pepper, celery seed, cayenne pepper, parsley, basil, marjoram, bay leaf, oregano, thyme, savory, rosemary, cumin, mustard, coriander, garlic, carrot, orange peel, tomato, lemon juice and lemon oil. So far, I haven’t been disappointed any time I’ve used it.

Going… flying. Last week I had the opportunity to go flying at iFly. SO. MUCH. FUN. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever done before. If you aren’t familiar, it’s basically a big wind tunnel which blows you into the air – indoor “sky diving.” I think it made me want to do the real thing even more.

What have you been up to  lately?
