My House
I had planned to paint my house last summer, but I had a bunch of unexpected expenses and ended up not doing it. Then, I was going to have it painted this summer but it got too hot too fast. When it cools off, it will be painted, I promise. I’m sure the neighbors are starting to get irritated. It looks pretty sad. I went to Sherwin Williams and picked up some swatches. I’m 99% sure I want to paint it Gray. Gray is hard; some grays are too blue, some too brown, some too green…. it’s like a Goldilocks story for HGTV.
Here are a few colors I’m considering via the Sherwin Williams Visualizer:
7016 Mindful Gray
7658 Gray Clouds
7023 Resquite Gray
6072 Perfect Greige
0023 Pewter Tankard
7018 Dovetail
I’m think maybe the visualizer actually makes it harder to choose. I think that the colors appear lighter using the visualizer than they actually are. Fortunately, they also mix and sell small samples that you can use to test your color selections. I hope to pick up some of those and test them out this weekend.
Right now, I’m thinking one of four colors: Perfect Greige, Pewter Tankard, Mindful Gray, or Gray Clouds. Hopefully the sales associate will be really helpful and help me know what to do!
What do you think?
